We use these Bloopy images to help children identify and express how they're feeling. Giving them appropriate attention as soon as they appear to be slipping 'leftwards' towards the central image (3) or further into sadness or anger is key. Connection raises energy and acknowledges that emotions are real, it is ok to show them, and that they can quickly change again for the better.
Finding something to love is a good way to start feeling better - think of something that makes you smile... It could be a favourite food, a colour, a smell, a pet - creating the feeling it gives you, even though it's not present, begins to raise your energy.
